In 2015, a training plan was provided for any Pedal Power ACT members who signed up for Fitz’s Challenge (or people who added a membership during registration).
Due to the program’s popularity and the positive feedback we received from last year’s offer, we have once again teamed with Michael Hanslip (a Level 2 certified Cycling Australia coach) but this time will provide a free training program to any 2016 Fitz’s Challenge early bird registrant.
To become an early bird registrant, you must have registered for a Fitz’s Challenge ride by midnight on 31 July 2016. Not only will you then receive a training plan for your chosen Challenge, but you will also benefit from the early bird registration saving.
The training programs will begin for the 50 km, 105 km, 165 km, 210 km and 255 km events on 8 August 2016 and will guide a participant’s preparation all the way up until the day.
Fitz’s Challenge is one of our gold ribbon events, and is the most highly rated cycling participation event we offer to the bike riding community.
The five distances are challenging, but achievable, and are a good way to explore Canberra’s Brindabella Ranges with 1400 other riders.
Registration for Fitz’s Challenge is open, and early bird prices and the opportunity to obtain a free training program closes at midnight on 31 July 2016.
